Features: Coating fixes OEM pigment inks making the image waterfast and resistant to wiping and abrasion. The blue-back base is also waterproof with high wet strength. Great for billboards, weatherproof outdoor advertising, & highly durable architectural drawings & maps. The blue back obscures previous posters from showing through.
Application Guidelines: Please ensure the adhesive system is matched to the paper and the backing panel. We recommend that the adhesive is applied to the backing panel. The base paper is polyethylene to give it waterproof properties & it is important to use high performance, high solids adhesives, especially where the back panel in non-permeable. Additional gluing may be needed where there are overlap joints in large tiled images. To achieve optimal water resistance, we recommend that prints are left a minimum of 2 hours (or preferably overnight) to dry, before they come in contact with water.
