Inkjet Colour Separation Film
Availability: The material can be made available in sheets or rolls up to 1270mm wide.
Features: This new film has been purpose-developed to enable colour half-tone separations to be made directly from an inkjet printer.
In imaging terms, it is second-to-none in developing black density with piezo inkjet printers, achieving DMax >4.0 with Epson dye inks. Dye inks are ideal for producing the best total and most even density. The nanoporous structure of the coating channels the colourant down to minimse dot spread and optimise line edge acuity. In functional terms, it dries instantly, has excellent water-resiistance and added matting agent to ensure good feeding and handling of sheets. With the correct colour separation software in place therefore, it is an ideal medium to generate new opportunities in low-cost digital origination for silkscreen and low-to-medium resolution offset litho.
